THE PULL SPIN STEP-OVER

The Pull Spin Step-Over 1 v 1 move is perfect for shielding the ball from an opponent who’s closing you down from the side or in front. Liverpool's Roberto Firmino uses it when he’s leading the line for The Reds. Learn how to do it below...

When performing these sick moves, make sure to sneak a look so you can see team-mates, opponents and space. Use your upper body and furthest foot from your opponent to protect the ball when accelerating away, passing or shooting too!

BALL MASTERY – PULL SPIN 360
 

  1. Push the ball forward with your left foot, now reach with your right foot and pull the ball back.

  2. Spin around to your left, at the same time pull the ball back with your left foot.

  3. Now repeat, moving 360 degrees around your space.

    Start slowly and gradually speed up, making sure you have eyes-up while on the move and work both feet equally

1 V 1 MIRROR MOVES – PULL SPIN
 

  1. Push the ball forward with your left foot, reach with your right foot and pull the ball back.

  2. Spin around to your left, pulling the ball back with your left foot.

  3. Accelerate away with your right foot!

    Make sure to work both feet equally!

  1. Push the ball forward with your left foot, reach with your right foot and pull the ball back.

  2. Spin around to your left, pulling the ball back with your left foot.

  3. Step-over the ball with your right foot, spin right with the outside of the same foot, accelerate away with your left foot.

    Make sure to work both feet equally!
