PLAYING STYLE

The Rams have a good mix of youth and experience, with quality youngsters like Knight and Sibley playing alongside experienced stars like Shinnie and Waghorn. Most of their creativity comes through Knight, while Waghorn is their biggest goalscoring threat!

THE GAFFER

Wayne Rooney

The former England forward had a class playing career at the likes of Everton, Man. United, D.C. United and most recently Derby, but The Rams only recently appointed him as their permanent boss after a few months as player-manager. He’s got a tough job on his hands!

STAR MAN

Kamil Jozwiak

The proper dangerous 22-year-old Poland international signed last September and has shown glimpses of his attacking threat! Rams fans are really hopeful he’s got the potential to grow into a Premier League-level winger under the right guidance!

WATCH OUT FOR…

Louie Sibley

The 19-year-old midfielder is regarded as one of the brightest prospects outside of the Premier League, and it’s easy to see why! He scored a hat-trick in just his second league start for The Rams away against Millwall in 2019-20!

SICK SIGNINGS

MATCH takes a look at the EFL’s best January signings you need to watch out for…

CHARLIE AUSTIN

QPR (on loan from West Brom)

Mark Warburton’s side are struggling towards the bottom of the Championship, but we reckon they pulled off the best signing in January! 31-year-old Austin re-joined his former club on loan from West Brom until the end of the season. He got off to the perfect start by scoring on his first appearance since re-joining away against Luton!

JACK CLARKE

STOKE (on loan from Tottenham)

The play-off chasing Potters boosted their attacking options in January by landing Clarke on loan for the rest of the season from Spurs! The 20-year-old forward hasn’t had much first-team action since joining Spurs for £10 million in July 2019, but he previously showed that he’s more than capable of tearing it up in the Championship during his time at Leeds!

ROLANDO AARONS

HUDDERSFIELD

Carlos Corberan has instilled a mega-exciting brand of football at Huddersfield, and the signing of Aarons from Newcastle perfectly fits the bill! The 25-year-old trickster has tons of skill moves in his locker and should help The Terriers cause their opponents all sorts of problems in the Championship!
