MOHAMED SALAH (£12.9m) – LIVERPOOL
Fixture: West Ham (A)
ABDUL SAYS: “Mohamed Salah registered another assist last Gameweek which brings his attacking returns to ten goals and seven assists! He has only blanked in one game so far this season and was unfortunate not to have scored in Gameweek 10 with a marginal offside goal as well…
The Egyptian still tops all the attacking metrics with 34 shots in the box (1st), 24 shots on target (1st), 12 big chances (1st) and seven big chances creates (1st).
Liverpool travel to London in Gameweek 11 to take on West Ham who are also enjoying a great start to the season. The Hammers sit fourth in the league and have been good defensively, only conceding 11 goals (5th).
Nevertheless, Liverpool have been by far the best team in the final third. They have scored 29 goals (1st), with 131 shots in the box (1st), 73 shots on target (1st), and an xG of 26 (1st). Just for some perspective, that is 5.3 more than second placed Manchester City (20.7).
With the form Salah is in, he has to be our perma-captain from here on in!”
BEN CHILWELL (£6m) – CHELSEA
Fixture: Burnley (H)
ABDUL SAYS: “Ben Chilwell registered yet more returns last Gameweek with a clean sheet and two bonus points. He has now accumulated 43 points in his last four starts (1st) with three goals and three clean sheets!
He has six shots in the box (1st among defenders), with an xG of 1.15 (2nd) and also has an xA of 0.43. Chilwell again looks primed for both defensive and attacking returns this week looking at Chelsea’s fixture.
Chelsea’s defence will surely be too strong for Sean Dyche’s men as they have only conceded three goals (1st) and their fixture this week is another prime opportunity for a clean sheet.
If you fancy taking a punt this week and moving away from Salah then Chilwell is as good as it gets for this week. He has the highest chance to get a clean sheet this and also has bags of attacking potential.
Another point to note is that the left-back was rested in the midweek Champions League game against Malmo so is very likely to start in Gameweek 11!”
