SCOUT REPORT!

Much was said about the 20-year-old winger’s long floppy hair before the game (he was even compared to the Beatles!), but he was no ‘flop’ on the pitch against NS Mura – within the first two minutes he’d already Cruyff Turned his way past a defender! He wasn’t involved in either of Spurs’ two early goals, but looked lively down the left alongside fellow Spaniard Sergio Reguilon. His touch on the stroke of half time was also a moment of utter class! After a quiet first 15 minutes in the second half, he was taken off for Lucas Moura.

AREAS TO IMPROVE!

  • Bryan Gil clearly has epic technique and ball control, but he could’ve been a bit more direct at times with his dribbles!
  • He didn’t deliver a single cross despite finding himself in some dangerous areas. We reckon he’s got a great whip on him!
  • He still looks a little lightweight, so he could do with working on his upper body strength!
