MATCH gets to know the awesome TOTTENHAM and ENGLAND baller a little bit better!
HERO GROWING UP!
DELE SAYS: “Steven Gerrard. Just because he’s an England legend and the mentality he had as Three Lions captain – I just loved watching him! I wouldn’t say I tried to base my game on him – it was more enjoying watching him and his passion!”
DELE SAYS: “If I could be any superhero, I’d be Ironman or Spider-Man – I’m torn between the two! But I think Ironman probably edges it as the coolest superhero!”
DELE SAYS: “If I wasn’t a footballer, I would be a P.E. teacher. I’d like to be doing something sporty, and P.E. was my favourite subject at school!”
DELE SAYS: “It would be a Sunday roast – and my favourite part is the Yorkshire Puddings! I don’t like peas, or anything with peas in it – mushy or normal – but I do like broccoli!”
FAVE FILM GENRE?
DELE SAYS: “My favourite genre is comedy, and my favourite all-time film would be Step Brothers! My least favourite films are Horrors – any Horror. I don’t like them and can’t sleep afterwards. I’d have to watch them with someone else!”
FAVE FOOTY MOMENT?
DELE SAYS: “I would have to say scoring for England at the 2018 World Cup in Russia against Sweden. The whole experience was amazing, but scoring a goal was special!”
FAVE SPURS MOMENT?
DELE SAYS: “That would be the Champions League semi-final against Ajax last season! Just the whole game… being 2-0 down and then pulling it back and scoring so late!”
Dele was speaking at the annual One Hotspur Junior Christmas Party, held at the Club’s Training Centre. Over seventy Junior Members won tickets to attend the event and rub shoulders with their Spurs heroes. For more information on membership, visit: tottenhamhotspur.com/fans/juniors/membership
