ENGLAND full-back KIERAN TRIPPIER chats ahead of The Three Lions’ final group stage game against the Czech Republic!

TRIPPIER SAYS: “We know as players, in a game like that, we can do much better! We tried to go for the win, we had opportunities, but I think the draw was fair. There is a lot we can improve on. Two clean sheets, four points on the board…we’re in a good position. Everyone’s feeling good!”

TRIPPIER SAYS: “All the players have been working hard in training! We’ve got a quality team. We’ve got experienced players in the dressing room, helping each other. It’s just about adding the finishing touches in the final third. Like I said, we’ve got to get the three points now!”

TRIPPIER SAYS: “Harry’s had an unbelievable season with Spurs! He’s our captain, he’s our leader. With H, he works so hard for the team and I think people might not recognise what he does off the ball. I believe in Harry and I believe he’ll score goals!”

TRIPPIER SAYS: “They’re a good side, they’ve got a good unit, they defend well as a team, but we’ve just got to focus on ourselves! We know we could’ve done better than when we played them (in Prague), but we’re ready. We just need to keep working hard on the training field!”

TRIPPIER SAYS: “The atmosphere’s not flat! We know we could’ve done better in the Scotland game, but we’re in a good position. The atmosphere’s good – in training, everybody’s laughing and joking. Everybody’s calm, relaxed and fully focused!”

TRIPPIER SAYS: “We go into every game to win them! No matter who you play in the tournament is going to be tough. I don’t know the route but it doesn’t matter – we just need to be fully focused on ourselves and give everything no matter who we’re playing!”

Kieran Trippier, La Liga

TRIPPIER SAYS: “I feel like I’ve developed a lot. I’ve said many times over the years that I need to improve most on my defending, and with (Diego) Simeone I feel like I’ve learnt so much. I feel like I’ve matured as a player and gained a lot of experience. It’s been a great two years for me!”

Kieran Trippier, left-back

TRIPPIER SAYS: “If I play left-back, I’ll give 110% – no matter where I play! I’ve not played loads of games at left-back, but I feel like I’m experienced enough now to play on either side. If I’m not playing, I’ll always be supporting the team, as everyone else will be. That’s the most important thing, the team!
