The WOLVES captain and ENGLAND centre-back chats to MATCH about his awesome career so far!

COADY SAYS: “He’s incredible! The club has completely changed direction since he arrived. He’d managed in the Champions League and it was an exciting opportunity for us all to improve and get better under his guidance. When a big job becomes available we all have a bit of a panic! He deserves to be linked with the biggest sides because he is that good a coach!”

COADY SAYS: “There have been so many! The Championship-winning season was incredible, but to play in the Premier League is a dream. Qualifying for the Europa League and then getting into the quarter finals on the back of a first season in the Premier League was an amazing achievement!”

COADY SAYS: “We don’t set objectives, but it would be a dream come true to win a trophy with Wolves. That would be incredible. Everyone wants to play in the Champions League too, but there are so many quality teams in the Premier League, that we’d be a bit arrogant to set that as a target!”

COADY SAYS: “I know people will find it hard to believe because I grew up in Liverpool, but it’s not entered my head. I just love everything about being at Wolves; the manager, the fans and my teammates. I think in life, when you come across something as special as this, it’s very hard to move away from it!”

COADY SAYS: “The biggest compliment I can pay him is that he has an incredible mentality. I knew that he wouldn’t to be a back up to anyone. I expect him to be a massive success. From our point of view, whenever you lose anyone of Diogo’s calibre, you are going to miss them. He was great for us, but football moves on!”

COADY SAYS: “I’ve dreamed about it all of my life. I represented my country at various levels as a kid and it was a massive honour. Walking out with that shirt on and singing that national anthem – it was everything I thought it was going to be and more. And the goal against Wales is on repeat in our house!”

COADY SAYS: “To go to a major tournament with England representing Wolves would be amazing, but I just need to keep focusing on my club, listening to our manager every day and keep looking to improve. I’ve not thought about going to the Euros because I don’t want to put unwanted pressure on myself!”
