MATCH spoke to the awesome England and Swansea wonderkid about his first season in the Premier League…
FIRST PREM SEASON!
TAMMY SAYS: “It’s been good – there have been a lot of ups and downs already! We’ve had some bad results, but I went through the same thing last year with Bristol City and turned it around– and we’ve done the same again! I haven’t got a goals target, but I didn’t have one last year and that worked out okay!”
CHAMPIONSHIP STEP UP!
TAMMY SAYS: “There are more punishments. If you make a mistake, a chance will be createdor a goal will be scored. It’s more tactical, too – we get more homework on our opponents! We don’t have as much of the ball either, and I have to drop in and defend for the team!”
TAMMY SAYS: “It would have to be Tom Carroll. His work-rate is phenomenal, and in training he’s always got the best stats! He’s a hard worker, he’s technical and he loves to have the ball. Also, Leroy Fer – even when he’s not having his best game, he still makes an impact!”
TAMMY SAYS: “I’m not too focused on anything other than Swansea and proving myself. But Chelsea’s my parent club and I grew up playing for them, so it’d be nice to break into the team. Nobody’s done it since John Terry, so I want to be the first!”
